Sorry for the lack of posts. I have been a busy bee but have found to create this little gem of an amigurumi.
Here is the design below.
Beatrice the Bee
Materials
- Yellow, White and Black Double Knit Yarn. I used Patons Smoothie Double Knit.
- 5mm hook
- Toy Stuffing
- Black Thread
- 2 10mm safety eyes
Pattern Notes
Work in continuous rounds.
Stuff the body as you go along.
Body
In Yellow
R1: Chain 2. 6sc in 2nd ch from hook. (6)
R2: 2sc in each st. (12)
R3:*1sc, 2sc in next st* 6 times (18)
R4:*2sc, 2sc in next st* 6 times (24)
R5:*3sc, 2sc in next st* 6 times (30)
R6 – R8: 1sc in each st (30)
Change to black
R9: 1sc in the back loop. (30)
R10: 1sc in each st (30)
Change to yellow
R11: 1sc in the back loop. (30)
R12: 1sc in each st (30)
Change to black
R13: 1sc in the back loop. (30)
R14: 1sc in each st (30)
Attach eyes between round 3 and 4 approx 4 stitches apart.
Change to yellow
R15: 1sc in the back loop. (30)
R16: 1sc in each st (30)
Change to black
R17: 1sc in the back loop. (30)
R18: 1sc in each st (30)
Change to yellow
R19: 1sc in the back loop. (30)
R20: *3sc, 1sc dec* 6 times (24)
R21: *2sc, 1sc dec* 6 times (18)
R22: *1sc, 1sc dec* 6 times (12)
R23: 1sc in each st (12)
R24: *1sc dec* 6 times (6)
Fasten off and sew in loose yarn.
Wings( Make 2)
In white
R1: Chain 2. 5sc in 2nd ch from hook (5)
R2: 2sc in each st (10)
R3: *1sc, 2sc in next stitch* 5 times. (15)
R4-7: 1sc in each st (15)
R8: *1sc, 1sc dec* repeat 5 times. (10)
R9: 1sc in each st (10)
R10: *1 sc dec* repeat 5 times (5)
Fasten off. Flatten wing and tie to the side of the body.
